As you know we've been having some strange weather in Arkansas. Just when you think it will be a great day for shooting that's when the wind will start blowing at a high speed or it will decide its going to rain. Just yesterday I went out to shoot some purple iris and I got all set up with the tripod and lights and the wind began to blow. I tried to sit it out but finally gave up. As for the temp its been great and I'm glad its finally warmed up.
Today I saw a brown bird that I've not seen before and I been trying to find it in the bird books but with no luck. It was sitting in our apple tree. I was told its been seen there several times but just have no idea as to what kind of bird it is. Its about the size of a robin but brown in color.
My granddaughter will be graduating from OK high school this Saturday and of course if God be willing I will be there to see it. Her church will be having a special event for their seniors this Sunday so I am planning to stay till Monday and then head for home. Then on May 31st I will be headed out to Eureka Springs for Mapsym. This will be their third event I will be attending. This event occurs every other year. I always enjoy this seminar. They always have great speakers. I don't feel the cost of the seminar is that great. It cost me more in hotel rooms than the seminar its self. It will be a great deal of fun and my friend Georgeanna will be there again--it will be her third time as well.
Well my phone has started ringing so I guess its time to get off here and start getting some real work done.
I hope you have a great day in the Wilderness, I plan to.
