Wow! did we have a great time. Road trips are the way to go. We saw lots of things and places. Experiences I will never forget. We started out looking for sunflowers in Kansas and even though we did not find fields of sunflowers we found lots of sunflowers on the road side. We meet some wonderful friends that we thoroughly enjoyed and would love to see again. In Mulvane, KS the big Sunflowers will bloom in September and I shall return to get photos of them. The couple who owns Luciano's were very friendly and made our visit grand. Nancy Luciano told us how when her husband drove through Mulvane the fields of Sunflowers where blooming and it reminded him of his hometown.
Look where I also got to go: Yellowstone--its changed a lot since I was there last--not the scenery but the animals--its hard to get a good photo because they are tired of people and just want to turn there backside to you but once an awhile if your patient long enough you can get a OK shot. We had lots of fun and enjoyed ourselves a lot. I'll be showing you others as we go Enjoy your Wilderness.

SUNFLOWERS
A friend of mine told me about all these sunflowers blooming on Hwy 300 so of course I had to go and see them. Sure enough there are 15 ac. This man plants them twice a year just for people to enjoy the beauty of them plus he allows you to pick all you want. Isn't that Great!! How many people do you know who would do something like this. The funny thing is I have planned a trip to Kansas to see fields of Sunflowers and that's the only thing I care about seeing. It has been a dream of mine for many years and I have never got to go so THIS year my husband is going to take me plus when we got married I was planning a trip to Italy. Jokingly when we saw these the other day he said, "Well! look at this: Sherry got to see Kansas while on her way to Little Italy". Little Italy is the name of the town in Arkansas where the Sunfowers are and Kansas is noted for its fields of Sunflowers. I hope that explains it. Anyway I thought it was appropriate.
Hope your able to go and see these.
Have fun in the Wilderness.
Shooting Fireworks
